unable to edit key
Hi Gurus,

I have a problem when I try to edit a key. I can see the key with:

$ gpg --list-public-keys
gpg: Warning: using insecure memory!
/home/bsokolow/.gnupg/pubring.gpg
---------------------------------
pub 1024D/907298C0 2000-09-29 Bernd Sokolowsky <bsokolow@lucent.com>
sub 1024g/2A6A1B99 2000-09-29

pub 1024D/5F1B90AB 2000-09-30 Bernd Sokolowsky <ulmo@garozzo.franken.de>
sub 1024g/07CF7E97 2000-09-30

pub 1024D/472046B4 2000-10-04 Bernd Sokolowsky <bernd.sokolowky@imbus.de>
sub 1024g/BBE3AD54 2000-10-04

But when I try to edit the last one I get:

$ gpg --edit-key bernd.sokolowsky@imbus.de
gpg (GnuPG) 1.0.3; Copyright (C) 2000 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

gpg: Warning: using insecure memory!
gpg: bernd.sokolowsky@imbus.de: user not found

Any hint what is happening?

Thx, Bernd.

Yes, you didn't read the manpage carefully. I suggest reading the
section "How to specify a user ID" again. "bernd.sokolowsky@imbus.de"
doesn't specify a User-ID. The user-id has to be 0x472046B4 in your
case.

Ciao

gpg --edit-key `echo bernd.sokolowsky@imbus.de | sed 's/lowsky/lowky/'`
