This is a GNU program which behaves like every Unix program. So what
you see is the binary data - terminal usually can't cope with this. It
you add the option - a you get the output in an ascii armor.

Hi Magnus,

your should use the "--armor" option as explained in the manpage under
the option "--export";-).
Otherwise, you get too many control characters scrambling youaf
weßröoasfß324012 af8
.... what might be ok if you send your key as an (mime-)attachment.

Now here is a guy that is so proud of his windowmanager's theme that he
couldn't resist letting the whole list participate. Or he never heard of
drag'n'drop, but then: Did you ever hear of someone who managed to make
screenshots from X and wasn't able to drag'n'drop?
