seg fault trying to import a key with 0.9.2
Hi,

Is this a known problem? If so, apologies. I haven't had time to
follow the list recently.

| 19:37:53@cookie| ~/packages/debian-keyring/debian-keyring $gpg --no-default-keyring --keyring ./debian-keyring.gpg --import ~/temp/a
| gpg: CRC error; da0d06 - dc3da0
| gpg: read_block: read error: invalid keyring
| gpg: Total number processed: 0
| gpg: quoted printable character in armor - probably a buggy MTA has been used
|
| gpg: Segmentation fault caught ... exiting
| 19:37:56@cookie| ~/packages/debian-keyring/debian-keyring $

It's vanilla 0.9.2 on Debian GNU/Linux (i386). ~/temp/a is appended
to this mail.

I had this trouble when I was using a file has an argument to
--import

gpg --import filename

it solved when I did a redirect stream instead.

gpg --import < filename.

Your letter wasn't too clear on the command line you were
using, I hope this helps.

Is it possible that there is indeed a CRC error? After disabling the
CRC checking I was able to import this key:

pub 1024D/652C4E20 1999-02-15 Joop Stakenborg <pa3aba@debian.org>
sig! 652C4E20 1999-02-15 Joop Stakenborg <pa3aba@debian.org>

sig! 652C4E20 1999-02-15 Joop Stakenborg <pa3aba@debian.org>

Is this okay or is something missing?

Aiiih - I should think before splitting functions.

I don't know, I've had this with three different keys now though.
Were any bugs fixed in the export function recently? I'll get these
people to try and re-extract and re-send their keys with md5sums so I
know it isn't getting corrupted during transit.

No. But I changed the armor code.

Please try this first. And if possible send me their keys (or did you
this already?)
