Hi,
thank you very much for answering so fast!
I'm experiencing troubles with my reading files, especially from the
network (tried some older kernel and there i got even local problems :( )
Right now I just found out I can prevent all the trouble by deactivating
smp, but this can't be the true solution...
Anyway, I would be very happy, if you could read my bugposting (link
below) and, if possible, try the same thing on your station (the stuff
with nfs and copying some big files).
I'm not an expert neither, unfortunately, and I did never try to run the
RAID, so I can't help you there, sorry...
Ok, here's the bugreport:
http://bugme.osdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3608 sorry, for giving you so much work, but I would be very happy, if I just
would get a clue where I have to search the problem...
Anyway, thanks in advance!
Thomas Lenherr
PS: I got Bios-version 1007
