canon i250 printer
greetings
I have followed a few threads from this list regarding installation of the
canon i25o printer.

I have managed to compile the bjcups-2.3-0 when I tried to install the
bjfilter-2.3-0 is when the fun began.
I discovered I needed popt-1.7 so I installed that no errors. tried the
bjfilter again, it then complained about libpopt so I copied the libpopt
files
from /usr/local/lib to /usr/lib and thats sorted,
I then tried again and got this:

[12:58:22]:[root]:/home/user/cups/Canoni250/tgz/bjfilter-2.3-0 # make
make all-recursive
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/user/cups/Canoni250/tgz/bjfilter-2.3-0'

-lpng -lcnbpcnclapi180 -lcnbpcnclbjcmd180 -lcnbpcnclui180 /usr/lib/libpopt.a
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcnbpcmcm180
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

make: *** [all] Error 2
[12:58:50]:[root]:/home/user/cups/Canoni250/tgz/bjfilter-2.3-0 #

did anyone on this list manage to fix it? I would really appreciate it, if you
could share the knowledge.
Thanks
