cifs in fstab versus mount's users option
Hi for everyone,

Just tried to skip smbfs out from the kernel (2.6.9) and tried some
playing with cifs, which works fine with my samba shares in fstab except
one thing:
<fstab>
//leon/home1 /home1 cifs
username=xxx,password=yyyyy,auto,uid=1000,gid=100,port=139,domain=BOSS 0
0
//leonov/transfer /transfer cifs
uid=1000,gid=100,port=139,domain=BOSS,guest 0 0
</fstab>
previously I used to add 'users' option (to mount as user) to shares
like this which works with smbfs. But it won't work with cifs: on mount
-v /transfer I got this error (which is the same as in 'mount -v /home1'
if 'users' option is set in fstab):
<mount_output>

parsing options:
rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,users,uid=1000,gid=100,port=139,domain=BOSS,guestusername specified with no parameter
</mount_output>

What can I do to enable cifs shares mounting as simple user? Any
suggestion?
