Hm, I suppose you'd use composite to create a image, where
(basically) one image is ontop of another image.

Well, I should read the documentation, that I like so much,
shouldn't I? :)

On the site mentioned above, you'll find a section called "Montage
Concatenation Mode". It shows, that the command to use would be:

montage -mode Concatenation image1.png image2.png tiled.png
