Hello!
Today I upgraded my kernel from the 2.6.7 to 2.6.8-r4.
The new kernel gives a SCSI device to S-ATA discs /before there were IDE
discs...) and now hddtemp can't check the temperature. This is the
output:
Barbara conf.d # hddtemp /dev/sda
/dev/sda: ATA Maxtor 6Y080M0 : /dev/sda: ATA Maxtor 6Y080M0 :
S.M.A.R.T. not available
But they worked until today...
Is there a patch or something to do for change this situation?
