Cannot Find 'hid.o'

I combed the descriptions in menuconfig looking for hid.o and cannot find it.
I have enabled likely suspects & compiled, none-the-less, but no hid.o
appears. Looking at the .config file didn't help. What specific did I
miss??

The module is called usbhid in newer kernel versions.
