Hi,
I tried the
experimental/sparc/tftpboot/sparc64/gentoo-sparc64-2005.0-20050717.tftpboot
image but it does not work.
--------------------
{3} ok boot net
Boot device: /pci@9,700000/network@2 File and args:
/pci@9,700000/network@2: 100 Mbps full duplex link up
Requesting Internet Address for 0:3:.....
ERROR: /pci@9,70000/ebus@1/serial@1,400000: Last Trap: Instruction Access
Error
Error -256
--------------------
The error seems equal to booting from CD with silo. So my assumption is
silo/tilo is wrong.
I just want to see if linux runs on this machine. I want boot a kernel via
tftp without tilo around. I have no other sparc-box.
/* Fix me */
I have Gustavo Zacarias experimental 2.6.15 in elf-bzip? format. I'm not
sure but I think for openboot rom I need a.out-not-bzipped.
booting 2.6.15 in elf-bzip:
--------------------
Remapping the kernel... ERROR:
Last Trap: Data Access Error
--------------------
Can someone help?
Thanks,
Sascha.
