crashme crashes U60(2x300) almost as quickly as it does (2x450)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Subject remains true, but is misleading. With 2.6.14-U60-2x300-vanilla
built with gcc-3.4.4, I cannot get crashme to fail (I finally gave up
after 30 passes). I gave up on U60(2x450) after 11 passes.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say U60+2.6.14(built with
gcc-sparc64-3.4.4) looks pretty stable. For me, that leaves U2 to
address.

Regards,
Ferris

On an Ultra 1 using 2.6.14 built with gcc-3.3.x, I'm still seeing
lockups. Going to try and build with gcc-3.4.4 today and see how that
goes.

Just to update everyone, using gcc-3.4.4, the Ultra 1 made it farther
through crashme (almost 5 runs instead of 1-2), but it still silently
fails. Nothing was posted to the graphical console even with the syslog
daemon turned off.

Hi All,

Running crashme.sh on 2.6.14-rc2, (netra 1405 4x440 1G), on around pass 3, the
box dies for all intents and purposes. Can't ping it, ssh sessions all close.
However, 'top' running in a serial console continues to run. At this point, the
box has been dead for about 10 minutes:

I sent a break hoping to get a sysrq in but that killed it the rest of the way.
