Oops!
Didn't mean to start a flame war but from what I am
reading is that, as you wrote Kumba, it all depends on
what model of SGI's you have. Unfortunately my Indigo
2 Impact and my soon to arrive 02 will not run
since they are IP28 and IP32. Which is fine since I
prefer to have Irix on those boxes anyhow.
I belive that most SGI users would like to have a
clean install (or close to it) for gentoo without too
many headaches, like me.
Now if I can only find time to get Gentoo running on
my Indy's
I am at least grateful that there is a distro out
there that takes care of us SGI guys.
