Hi all,
I just ran into the problem that every time portage want to patch it doesn't
work. patch is installed and working. When I emerge a package it always gives
this output:
* Applying diffutils-2.8.4-Makefile-fix-typeo.patch...
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 1436: 26749 Done cat
${PATCH_TARGET}
26750 Aborted | patch -p${count} ${popts}
>>${STDERR_TARGET%/*}/${x##*/}-${STDERR_TARGET##*/}.real 2>&1
* A dry-run of patch command succeeded, but actually
* applying the patch failed!
* Failed Patch: diffutils-2.8.4-Makefile-fix-typeo.patch!
*
* Include in your bugreport the contents of:
*
* /var/tmp/portage/diffutils-2.8.4-r4/temp/diffutils-2.8.4-Makefile-fix-typeo.patch-26680.out
!!! ERROR: sys-apps/diffutils-2.8.4-r4 failed.
!!! Function epatch, Line 402, Exitcode 0
!!! Failed Patch: diffutils-2.8.4-Makefile-fix-typeo.patch!
Just the package name differs of course..;)
When I look in the file it always gives this output, again, of course the name
differs...:
