Has anyone got a DVD-RW SATA drive working in this group? I can't seem
to get the system to detect the drive.
I've checked the gentoo forum and google'd but have found nothing that
will help. I've seen posts regrading hard drives, but not dvd-rw's.
Any suggestions would be most help and appreciated.
Plextor 12x SATA drive, but my system does not see it.
I'm running the 2.6.8-r4 kernel
hardware:
2x 240 Opterons
1024MB HyperX Ram
4x 80 WD JB HDD's (raid 0)
Geforce4 4400 128MB vid. card
Tyan Tiger Mobo
