Ethereal 0.9.0 Binaries for Win32
The Ethereal 0.9.0 binaries for Win32 are now available at:

http://www.ethereal.com/distribution/win32/

This release contains the 0.9.0 version of Ethereal and related tools and
a fix for Protocol Hierarchy Statistics that was made after the 0.9.0
source code was released. Additionally, the ethereal and tethereal
binaries are linked with the UCD SNMP library for Win32. The installer
program can install some basic MIB files for use by the SNMP library,
but our Win32 support for this SNMP library is just beginning --- the
MIB files can only be installed in c:\usr\mibs. This shortcoming should
eventually be addressed.

An important Win32 change in this version of Ethereal is the placement of
the user's
config/preferences files. They are now placed in "Application
Data\Ethereal"
in the user's profile directory.
