I'm trying to install ethereal on a Red Hat 6.2
After doing ./configure with --prefix=/usr/ethereal i get the error msg
:
"checking for snmp/version.h...
no checking for sprint_objid in -lsnmp...
no checking for sprint_objid in -lsnmp...
no configure: error: SNMP header files found, but sprint_objid not found
in SNMP library"
Before that, i had to upgrade the libsnmp.4.1.1 i used to libsnmp-4.2.1
in order to fix another bug.
Any idea about the consequence of the upgrade because before that, i
could do ./configure and make !!!
