DRBD size limits and kernel version

Hi, I'm planning to use DRBD on a HA mail server.
I've a couple of questions and I didn't find right answer yet:
- What's the maximun or recomended size for a DRBD device? Will 40 GB
work fine?
- Should I go for a 2.2.x kernel or can I safely work with a 2.4.1x?
(In case of a 2.4.1x do I use drbd-0.6.1-pre7 or CVS?)

Any hints or addresses to docs on DRBD + heartbeat are welcome.

I use 80GB and it works.

I use 0.6.1-pre7 with 2.4.14.
