Zmodem
Hi

I am using Sendmail as MTA for mail service through dial-up. Is there a
feature in Dbmail which enables downloads (attachments) to be resumed from
the point of disconnection - something like zmodem. The users send
attachments averaging 3 Mb per mail. The bad lines here get cut-off in
between a download frequently.

regards

Hi

the imap nor the pop protocol support this directly. However you can
specify to download just a part of a message with imap (receiving the
message in chunks) but this would require an intelligent mailclient
which records the parts already retrieved.
