horde/imp behavior with dbmail imapd
Hi all,

I have set up horde, imp, turba to authenticate via imap, and recgnized
some strange behavior when viewing my mail folders in imp.
The "From:" Adresses are displayed without the host, e.g.
("user@host.tld" is displayed as "user@")
If i change the authentication method of imp to pop3 everything is
displayed perfectly, but the problem with pop3 is that horde/imp doesn't
support all features with pop3, and it can't differ between read and
unread mails, so all mails ar marked as already read...

I also reognized that all my mails in my local mail client (doesn't
matter if i use ms products or not), are displayed like user@@host.tld
(with two @).
I think that this behavior in dbmail-imapd could also cause the display
problems in horde/imp ?

I'm using dbmail 1.1 from frebruary 2003.

Is there some kind of solution for this issue ?

Thanks

Bernhard Strobl

Hello,

There have been fixes for this posted to the list (or maybe the
same fix posted multiple times). I don't know if that fix made it
into cvs or not, but it seems like it may have. (We don't use imap,
so I don't track those things that well.)
