Iphone and Fedora 9 and 0.9.8.1
Hello friends,

I have a problem connecting my 3gs to davical. Connection via Lightning works fine for months now, but my 3gs doesn't show up anything. I tried with different credentials and Caldav settings within the iphone.

Perhaps it's more a httpd config thing?

Please see the http log (errorlog is empty):

Regards,
Martin

0.9.8.1 is pretty old now, but I believe that version did work with the
iphone.

One common issue with the iphone seems to be that it works if you set
the period to look back to something other than 'infinite'. I personally
found little value in having events older than 2 weeks present on the
phone, so this wasn't a problem.

I looked into this issue in some detail and could find no difference in
the series of requests sent by the phone and the responses from DAViCal,
up to the point when the phone stopped making further requests. To
figure out further would presumably require some kind of phone-side
debug.

This looks pretty normal, though it's odd that it requests the calendar
URL first. Normally the iphone should be configured to access the
principal URL (.../martin/ rather than .../martin/home/) and it will
find the calendars from there.

Cheers,
Andrew.
