[clamav-users] Need help with clamd on Ubuntu
Hello. I am trying to get a fresh install of clamav working on Ubuntu
20.04 and I am having issues when starting clamd. When I try and start
it, it comes up for maybe 5 secs then shuts itself down. Anyone have any
suggestions?

Marisa

how much of RAM do you have?
clamav needs more than 1GB to work.

Where did you get this version ?

In my experience you can't simply replace a Ubuntu package of clamav
with a version built or packaged from the clamav site, or vice versa.
