Hi,

I have a problem while starting clamav.

The start time is **2 Min. 34 sec.** and it seems that the time was
waste on or after the step
--> Bytecode: Security mode set to "TrustSigned".

Please can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Which information are required to help me?

It’s loading databases. Check the list archives from the last few months for several threads with solutions.

You're not doing anything wrong.
ClamAV takes it's time to load 6533172 signatures.

Hi Reio,
hi Axb,

it seems to be a problem/issue, where I'm not alone with it.

I increased the systemd start time to 300 (5 Min.) so it sill works.

Is it possible that it take so long, because in the past, with version 99.x,
the start was faster, maybe 20 or 30 seconds on the same machine?

I have done that, interesting was the problem with daily.c{l|v}d...

Hi,

you can enjoy the next releases (also minor).
There will be some optimizations to db loading.
I am running a patched version and load time went down from around 3
minutes to below 1 minute.
I think this is a major improvement.
