ATA Configuration tool over linux

Anybody knows if exist any tool like cfgfmt.exe to compile ATA's
configuration over linux?. I need to run this over a shell, I tried with
cfgfmt.exe running over dosemu, but it's runs only over 32 bits plataforms,
DOS doesn't supported.

Any help would be appreciated.

the firmware distribution include the source code (cfgfmt.c), it will
probably build just as fine on linux as on unix.
