IP Phone 7960 firmware
I have a few Cisco IP Phone 7960s which has firmware versión:
P00303030202.
Does anyone know which protocols does this firmware support? (I mean: if
it runs SCCP, MGCP or SIP).
Can anyone suggest nice links to understand these phones configuration,
and the firmware upgrade procedure?
Thanks,

JP

EM should use the pin, not the password.

This is the only link I found on CCO, hopefully this helps:

Re: IP Phone 7960 firmware [ In reply to ]
That firmware load is for SCCP protocol. You can upgrade to SIP or MGCP
firmware loads, you have to have a customer login at CCO to download the
firmware. Basically, for SCCP and SIP you download the firmware to a TFTP
server and configure the phone settings to use this TFTP server. I haven't
tried MGCP. See the Voice Applications page for a complete list of firmware:

http://www.cisco.com/kobayashi/sw-center/sw-voice.shtml

The MGCP firmware is misfiled on this listing, it's not under IP Phones,
it's under Voice Application Software.
