To bad. The old PBX you can hit transfer one more time and get it back.

Not that I'm aware of. She can always have the person she wrongly
transferred them to send them back to her. Or possibly let the caller
hit 0
during the person's voicemail greeting to get transfered to the
operator.
Obviously if she's doing consultative transfer she can just end the
first
call, resume the original one and then proceed to do the transfer again.
