[nsp] Router startup
Hi All,

I recently had to do a password recovery of my Cisco 2600 router, and I
think I may have messed something up:

I setup the config, then 'wr mem' and then do
'copy running-config startup-config'

t1 works

But; if I power cycle the router, the config is nuked. t1 doesn't work :)

Apparently the 2600 is not using 'startup-config' when it boots.

Can anybody tell me how to setup the boot parameters to use the
startup-config file?

config-reg 0x2102

should do the trick.

Aaron, presumably when you performed a password recovery you set the
config-register to 0x42? Did you set it back to 0x2102 after the
recovery?

Thank you everyone!

I had forgotten to set it back...
