Is is possible to use a list for authentication on a AS5300 instead of radius?
Winding down our dialup service and have about 45 customers left on a AS5300.
Would like to shut down our aging radius server and want to know if its possible
to set up a small login/password ist on the cisco for the remaining customers or
maybe allow them to dialup and not have any authentication going on. Anything
that would not require authentication against an external source.

Can this be done??

Thanks!
Andy

Sure, if you define this 45 customers localy (user xxx passw yyy) and
change ppp authentication "aaa authentication ppp default local".
