Mailing List Archive: cisco 10k cache flow and mss-adjust issues

I was just wondering if anyone else had come across these problems or if I
am just lucky...

We have a Cisco C10008 (PRE2-RP) doing l2tp-pppoe termination from various
providers. Running IOS c10k2-p11-mz.123-7.XI9.bin.

a) It does not show or export any inbound flow data coming from the
Virtual-Access(es). It shows and exports the data coming in the 1000baseT
interfaces and back out the Vi or Gi fine.
All interfaces have the "ip route-cache flow" command on them.

b) The "ip tcp adjust-mss 1400" command also doesn't appear to be working.
Possibly caused by the flow cache not working if it intercepts at the flow
switching level?

Anyone see something like this with the 10k? or got some ideas to play with.

Have you tried "ip flow ingress" instead?

We have the same problem (we still can't see the flows coming from va interfaces on the router), but they are exported fine (at
least they seem so at the netflow server).

Also "ip flow-cache timeout inactive 60" could help you.
