UPDATE - Only work with 7 user (client)
Mark,

After review the debug output. It seems there is a
problem
at the other end of the L2TP tunnel cause the time
out that
is why it was not able to establish a connection. I
am
sure if I am interpret it correctly and not quite
sure
what to do with it. Please advice.

Look for the ===> Missed 5 keepalives

This type of problem shouldn't be restricting the total number
of connections, except that it may cause certain connections
to terminate prematurely (potentially after only 50 seconds),
once LCP has been opened.

By default keepalives are enabled and sent every 10 seconds
(there are caveats here, as we will only send keepalives when
there is no traffic on the interface).

Also by default PPP will consider the line inoperable if 5
consecutive keepalives are not replied to (this is configurable
via the keepalive interface command).

Any keepalive loss could be due to the LNS, network, LAC, telco,
or peer. You should try to understand who's being effected (all
users, only from one LAC, etc) and how consistently. Workaround
is to disable keepalives, although if the problem effects other
traffic that's not helping much.

You may be able to use <debug ppp error> to narrow down the amount
of debug you have to grok through.

Re: UPDATE - Only work with 7 user (client) [ In reply to ]
Mark,

Thank you so much for such an insight information.
I will proceed with you suguestion.
In the mean time. According the debug
log I sent, would you say that the problem have to
do with drbrtj08rr.mi.AADS device? In two separate
instances it seems to time out when it communicate
with the drbrtj08rr.mi.AADS device or atleast that what
the debug indicated.

Tnl 10005 L2TP: O Hello to drbrtj08rr.mi.AADS tnlid 36530
Vi8 PPP: Missed 5 keepalives, taking LCP down

Thanks again,
Tom
