App install from market not working with 1.2.100

Hello cherokee experts,

I installed cherokee 1.2.100 from the ppa on a fresh ubuntu 10.04 server.

If I try to use the cherokee-admin to install an app from the market, only
the typed in "Domain Name" in the wizzard disapears. Nothing more happens.

If I try to clean up the "unfinished installations" nothing happens too.

Does anyone know a solution?

Same exact thing happening to me.

Tried to install wordpress from Apps, nothing happened.

Tried to run the "clean up" on orphan apps, nothing happened.

I am running a Linode server w/ ubuntu 10.04

It seems like a permissions issue. maybe "www-data" should have write
ability somewhere?

I assume you have the same problem as I do. I was stuck at the point
where you setup the hostname. I tried to find what 's wrong and there
ist a AJAX request that keeps getting a 404 error. I didn't come to a
solution in the end.

That isn't the problem where some key was appended, because that thing was
already fixed.
