New issue 362 by juan.luis.almaraz: Autostart not working
http://code.google.com/p/cherokee/issues/detail?id=362
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed the product as said.
2. Copied contrib/cherokee to /etc/init.d/
3. Changed the mode of the script to 755 (for execution)
4. Executed and nothing happened.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to read on the terminal "Starting cherokee web server:
cherokee.", but nothing happened. I modified the script to have
"DAEMON=/usr/sbin/cherokee" instead of "DAEMON=/usr/local/sbin/cherokee"
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using the last version of cherokee, 0.98.1 on a debianarm.
Please provide any additional information below.
Also when I executed cherokee-admin, once the webserver is running, the
interface didn't show the webserver running, as if it couldn't read the PID
file.
