I'm proposing an enhancement to the Bricolage XML format used by bric_soap for story/media/template export/update/create commands. At Denison we have become accustom to using the Notes field on stories, media, and templates to highlight versions of interest or when we programmatically mass update stories or media. Currently, if we use bric_soap we are unable to set a note in the XML and have that stored in the database following an update or create. For bric_soap exports an empty note element would be present.
This functionality would be great for mass expire or create operations where you want to leave a Note on the affected assets.
