solaris 8 IP failover
I can pass messages back and forth from spread-
I want to have a single IP failover on 2 solaris 8
boxes.

box1: xxx.xxx.abc.19
box2: xxx.xxx.abc.197

virtual IP: xxx.xxx.abc.20

our (cisco)router: xxx.xxx.abc.1

Nothing seems to be happening? Spread is running...I
can send test messages between the 2 boxes.

The only things I changed in wackamole.conf is the
virtual IP, DNS, and (cisco)gateway. Do I even need to
put the last 2? If possible I would like to only
notify the 2nd server.

I'm probably missing something...

------------------my wackamole.conf
below---------------

Spread = 4803
SpreadRetryInterval = 5s
Group = wack1
Control = /var/run/wack.it

Prefer None

VirtualInterfaces {
{ hme0:xxx.xxx.abc.20/24 } }

Arp-Cache = 90s

Notify {
# Let's notify our router:
hme0:xxx.xxx.abc.1/32 (??? cisco router)
# Notify out DNS servers
hme0:xxx.xxx.efg.10/32
hme0:xxx.xxx.efg.40/32
hme0:xxx.xxx.0.0/24 throttle 128
}
balance {
AcquisitionsPerRound = all
interval = 4s
}
mature = 5s

---------------end wackamole.conf------------

Thanks for your time,

regards,
Jeff Tan
