I ported it to FreeBSD last night. Use the CVS version.
Note that the FreeBSD support is complete untested and the copy in CVS
is a "maintainers" version, so you will need autoconf installed. (Look
at the README).
Perhaps I will look into a nightly snapshot on change feature.
