Hey Theo,

Finally getting around to developing that NT broadcaster and I had a =
quick question.

In the server stats structure does the receiver pay any attention to the =
contact?

I.E. is there any reason for me to set that to a valid value for the =
receiver, other than just leave it unused?

Thanks
rob

Yes. It uses that as the service to which it will proxy. Both the IP=20=

and port are essential. mod_backhand is trusting by design, it allows=20=

the broadcaster to lie -- this allows machine A to advertise for machine=20=

B.
