There is a bug in mod_backhand's error handling code. When the apache
child starts up mod_backhand will attempt to connect the child to the
moderator. If this fails, the Apache child goes on with its life, but
it will never be capable of backhanding anything. This is obviously bad.
The modification is that if the connection fails, the child will exit
and Apache will start a new one. It writes this to the error log, so
the number of times a child's birth is unsuccessful can be monitored.
The update is in CVS.
