nvidia drivers
This might be relevant to the new Myth builds, although I don't have
vdpau-capable hardware.

304.51 worked; 304.64 didn't, so I just reverted. Later I tried 304.64
from rpmfusion, and had the same problem, apparent on trying to use
OpenGL, but couldn't then revert. This fixed it:

304.88, with the same xorg.conf, works for me.

Hope - without a lot of confidence - that that helps :-)

Re: nvidia drivers [ In reply to ]
Hi,

while this may be relevant for the runtime configuration, these bits
and configs are not needed (or even installed) during build time.

The bits that are needed for the build are just the libs, not the
extensions.

Re: nvidia drivers [ In reply to ]
vdpau is crashing in nvidia 319.17 drivers when playing most divx
compressed avi's.

I am using vo=gl with mplayer to bypass this problem. I do not remember of
seeing
this happen with previous nvidia drivers, thought. My card is a GT 640,
that is,
a relatively new card.

We have to wait for a fix by nvidia in future drivers, I guess ...
