Request for updated packages for MythTV
Hello,

I hope I am requesting in the correct place.
Could you add MythTV 24.2 ( 24.1 is current in F14/15/16 in ATRPMS repo )
to the available repos?
I am using Fedora 16, but I am sure others would appreciate it being
populated to all the Fedora areas.
MythTV 24.2 was released stable last week.

Thanks very much.

Mark, Axel usually builds Mythtv every month or so from 0.24-fixes branch.
If you run "rpm -q --changelog mythtv", you will see which git revision
you are running and it's probably fairly close to 0.24.2 :-)

For example, I running mythtv-0.24.1-278 which says (v0.24.1-106-g31e9528).
The first AtRPMS build of 0.24.1 was (v0.24.1-4-gc321ee6). As you can
see, many changes have already been rolled into Axel's 0.24.1-based RPMs.
The version I'm running has the first 379 fixes from the 0.24.2 release
notes.

Hi,

it's true that the packages were close to 0.24.2, but on the other
hand they we not getting the monthly treat they used to get. Now there
are fresh packages out there for both the latest 0.24.x fixes
(e.g. 0.24.2 + latest stable fixes) and 0.25.

Now that the packages have been rebased to newer upstream contents
updates are easier to push - especially for 0.25 which is going to be
becoming more and more interesting over the next days.

A note for 0.25: mythmusic is built w/o libcdio - next package update
will get licdio support in. And I think I will drop support for RHEL5
unless there is real demand for it. But I think since CentOS went 6.x
most EL users are going 6.x. (at least the ones contemplating
upgrading mythtv to 0.25).
