I noticed that on an EL6 install where I have both ATrpms and EPEL
enabled, that the versions of libmodplug and libupnp supplied by
ATrpms are older than the EPEL provided versions.
At a minimum, the latest version of libmodplug (0.8.8.4) appears to
address a security issue so that should be updated.
libupnp from EPEL seems to conflict with the version from ATrpms so
can't be updated, either.
Should I enter tickets? I have no idea what other ATrpms packages
besides vlc will be affected if these packages are updated...
