Yes, I tried to turn Rhel6 into a Fedora system, and I would have
accomplished this
if we had a fair KDE version there.

Anyway, I followed your advice and installed Rhel6 on all my laptops and
home computers, but my main desktop, where I run F14.

I am getting tired of reinstalling Fedora every year. Even using partimage,
it is a pain on the neck.
Therefore, I will either use Rhel6 or a Mac.

I bought my first Macbook pro and I was really surprised that I could
download
a Mythtv 0.23.1 MacOs dmg package (yes, I am still running 0.23.1 on my
master),
and everything worked. I did not have to configure anything, because it
found
my master automatically. Using the MacPorts I can build almost all the
packages I need,
although some packages dealing with sound, such as gstreamer, did not work.

Well, it is a different experience, and I am intending to develop some
applications for ipad/ipod/iphone.

Nonetheless, I have to say that F14 is the best system I ever had ...
