Patch: mailing-lists.html
Is this the right place to send docs patches, or should they go to
new-httpd?

Anyways, the page with subscription information for this list is
incorrect:

If this is the place to send 'em, I've got a few. I sent one to
new-httpd, but was wondering if this would not be a better place for
them to go. (?)

This place will do nicely. Keep them coming! If you want to work
on it through CVS then (anonynously) check out the module

apache-devsite

that makes 'diffing' easier.

I'm relatively new to CVS. Could you tell me what the procedure is for
connecting to this CVC tree? Thanks. I'll pay for my education with lots
of patches. I found lots of things on the site and in the docs that
irritated me, or could have been explained better, when I was doing
research for my book.

Try "rsync locus.apache.org::" to pick up the latest.

The docs are in a different tree (well, actually, a couple of
different trees, and soon to be even more different) than the
dev.apache.org Web site.

$ cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@dev.apache.org:/home/cvspublic login
(Logging in to anoncvs@dev.apache.org)
CVS password: [ password is anoncvs ]
$ cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anoncvs@dev.apache.org:/home/cvspublic co apache-1.3
...

and then the docs will be in apache-1.3/htdocs/manual/
