what are we waiting for ?

...please read that as, "what's the current status ?, are we waiting
for something to be done ? if we are, I missed that bit."

If there's anything that any of the group should be doing, or
could be doing, please adivse.

there's still the ftime problem with FreeBSD and also AU/X I think.
Just add a -lcompat to the config file for now. It really should
be replaced after this beta though.

Like I said before, there's no way to add -lcompat for A/UX, so the module
containing it is completely uncompilable as it stands for A/UX... however I
wouldn't hold it up because of it, even still.

So far as I know, this is all we're waiting for...

1) Brian was going to update the documentation; I don't know the
status of that.

2) It would be nice for someone to report on experiences with 0.8.7,
just to be sure some crucial bit didn't get left out (though I notice
that telescope claims to be running it --- a useful sanity check).

3) Someone's gotta write and send the announcement...
