Someone has started looking at our .htaccess files.
I don't think there's anything interesting in them, but is
there a way to block all access to them ?

I set

AddType application/x-httpd-cgi htaccess

which appears to do the trick in a roundabout way.

My old TotallyIgnore idea would be nice for this (along with emacs backups
of scripts, etc. --- if people aren't trolling for these *yet*, I'd be very
surprised). This should be possible to do fairly easily as a fixup module,
in the new setup...
