Solaris 2.8-10
Hey,
I am trying to get help with parsing through very large web logs and I came on a suggestion to this site. I'm not sure if my company will let me run freeware but it sure sounds like this does what I'm looking for.
So...will this run on Solaris 8 or 10 ?

Thanks,
Ken

Haven't tried on 10, but I don't see why not. On 8 it builds and runs fine,
just read the comments in src/Makefie. I think I may have built it with
SUNWspro at one point, too -- although the binary we currently have seems to
be built with gcc.

Hi,

It works on Solaris 10 fine - I've had it running on Sparc and x86 versions. You can pkgadd it from sunfreeware but I haven't had any trouble compiling it with gcc (just need to adjust the anlghead.h file a tiny bit).
