xend start errors - help!!

Hi

I've just installed xen, and when I start xen by doing xend start I
get the following:

[root@xen ~]# xend start
ERROR: Could not obtain handle on privileged command interface (2 = No
such file or directory)
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/sbin/xend", line 27, in ?
from xen.xend.server import SrvDaemon
File "/auto/groups/xeno-xenod/users/xenod/cron-build/R24768.dir/xen-2.0.bk/dist/install/usr/lib/python/xen/xend/server/SrvDaemon.py",
line 41, in ?
File "/auto/groups/xeno-xenod/users/xenod/cron-build/R24768.dir/xen-2.0.bk/dist/install/usr/lib/python/xen/xend/server/channel.py",
line 3, in ?
xen.lowlevel.xc.error: (2, 'No such file or directory')

Can anyone please tell me how I can fix this?

Had you rebooted into Xen / XenLinux yet or were you just testing under native
Linux first? The latter probably won't work because the privileged command
interface won't exist.

Hey,

Thanks for the info. It was my mistake, basically grub,conf loaded the
redhat kernel instead of the xen kernel.
