Installing redhat 7.2 under debian
Hello,
I want to install xen to run old versions of redhat (7.2,7.3 etc) on
my debian sarge machine. Is it actually possible to use xen like a
virtual machine to do this ? The hardware is very new and will not be
supported by redhat 7.2, which is why I was thinking of using xen to
do this. Is there any documentation about installing multiple distros
on a machine. I saw some screenshots of it, but couldn't find a howto
for doing that.

Regards,
Shakuni

As long as you need storage and network (so no Xserver, sound support,
etc.), there should be no problem. Create an image of your RedHat 7 system
and start it like any other virtual machine. Be sure your app does not
require the original RH7 kernel!

So far I did not realise that Xen is great for preserving those old
distros, especially if XDMCP runs on them it's a great way to demo Linux
history; where are my Slackware 3 floppies???
