Good background on the global battle for IP legislation, the relevance
of trade agreements like TRIPS, and the attempts to put the needs of
developing nations on the agenda of the UN's World Intellectual
Property Organization. The last two chapters describe the idea of an
Access to Knowledge Treaty.

Every Wikimedia Board candidate should have a basic understanding of
these topics, IMHO.
