Local press coverage of HQ move in San Francisco
I guess some press releases went out - the San Francisco Chronicle is
running the story on the top of its electronic edition right now (
http://www.sfgate.com )

Story: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/10/10/BU69SNMQ2.DTL&tsp=1

(the first version of the article misidentified Anthere as male for
some reason, but the writer responded within minutes to an email and
fixed the story promptly).

Yes, and it's also on the Wikimedia Foundation site:

Yes the comments section is as expected rather negative.

The SF Gate articles' comments section is largely off topic and
irrelevant. A few "But it costs more here...", which is legit, but
the Foundation has addressed that in the discussions so far.
