VNC Service with TinyXP
I've installed RealVNC 4.1.3 to run as a service. When I try to connect the server fails with the error in Event Viewer:
"Socket Manager: unknown listener event: 0"

Anyone have a clue as to what might be required here? When run in user mode it works just fine.

Andrew,

It sounds like the IP address you're connecting from is prohibited by the VNC Server's "Access Control" settings (the Hosts parameter). Unless you're feeling particularly paranoid, you probably want to set that to permit all IP addresses, by setting it to "+".
