Address book problems
Hi... I am new to realvnc, although I have used other implementations for
years. I am having problems with the vnc address book. If i store a password
to an address book entry, when I try to connect to it I get the following
error:
"Unable to start VNC Viewer: CreateDirectory: Access is denied. (5)"
However, if I do not store a password, or if I do not provide the address
book master password and just click cancel, then vnc viewer starts up
normally and asks for the connection password, after which it connects fine.
I only have this problem on one pc, all other installations are working
normally. I did not do anything differently and I don't know how to fix
this. Please help.

RE: Address book problems [ In reply to ]
Hi Sapient,

That's a new one on me, I'm afraid! For VNC Enterprise & Personal Edition products, you can report issues via http://www.realvnc.com/support.html and our tech-support team will be happy to help.

Thanks,
